Community Event 2: Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival

It's a little of A and a little of B. The food is present - gosh, is the food present. Isabelle made sure not to miss anything: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, casserole, buttermilk rolls, cornbread, and those were just the normal options. Accommodations were made to diets like her own, and she even managed to get something for their more uniquely diet guest who would only subsist on coffee otherwise.

Besides the food, the hall has been decorated too thanks to her brother Digby and the Happy Home Academy. Festive fallen leaves decor with dark rugs, neatly hung drapes by the windows gathered into gold ropes, long tables with cream table cloths set with plates and silverware, and comfortable chairs colored yellow, orange, and red as they lined the tables.

"Okay, a piano if someone wants to play it, double string bass, speakers and... mhm! Beverages on that table, and laptop over there... that looks like everything! And right on time!"

Isabelle's beaming as she lowers her clipboard and fixes her tie - she really likes this Future Foundation suit. Bells jingling, she walks over to the main door which she knocks several times so they can be open.

"Welcome everyone and thank you for waiting! Come in and enjoy yourselves!"

I mean, I can kinda understand where Tsukiyama's dad is coming from. Tsukiyama's his only kid, and he's expecting Tsukiyama to continue the family line and all that. So I can get why that'd be a problem.

He was kidnapped for a couple of months. Maybe he'll understand. That kind of thing has an effect on people.

[His dad isn't pressuring him into continuing the family business, at least.]

I'm surprised you guys have kept it a secret for so long.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. Maybe he'll lighten up a bit. Tsukiyama obviously went through a lot... and he didn't really want to talk about it.

I'm honestly pretty surprised too! I mean, I'm pretty sure Matsumae thinks we're married or something, but uh. She's probably the only one!

I've been told that as long as I make him happy and don't break his heart, it's cool with Matsumae! Of course if I do break his heart then she's probably going to break my everything, but that's nothing to be worried about!

I've apologized a lot for that one... But I mean, as long as we're not confronting any evil bitches holding us hostage for two months, I think I'll be fine!

Ugh, same here. I get why Tsukiyama did it that way, but... I would've loved to watch her go through all of those executions. At least three times. Maybe that would have been enough... but probably not.

You could make a sculpture out of her, and it still wouldn't have been enough.

It definitely wouldn't. I think she would have healed from whatever I did to her as long as that gem was intact, so I could've had a lot of fun-- Ah, but the others wouldn't have liked that at all.

True, but we were so messed up by everything that happened, that could've screwed everything up. I don't think anyone would have voted to stay with that bitch, but it would've taken longer while we argued about whether or not I should be allowed to have fun.
