Community Event 2: Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival

It's a little of A and a little of B. The food is present - gosh, is the food present. Isabelle made sure not to miss anything: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, casserole, buttermilk rolls, cornbread, and those were just the normal options. Accommodations were made to diets like her own, and she even managed to get something for their more uniquely diet guest who would only subsist on coffee otherwise.

Besides the food, the hall has been decorated too thanks to her brother Digby and the Happy Home Academy. Festive fallen leaves decor with dark rugs, neatly hung drapes by the windows gathered into gold ropes, long tables with cream table cloths set with plates and silverware, and comfortable chairs colored yellow, orange, and red as they lined the tables.

"Okay, a piano if someone wants to play it, double string bass, speakers and... mhm! Beverages on that table, and laptop over there... that looks like everything! And right on time!"

Isabelle's beaming as she lowers her clipboard and fixes her tie - she really likes this Future Foundation suit. Bells jingling, she walks over to the main door which she knocks several times so they can be open.

"Welcome everyone and thank you for waiting! Come in and enjoy yourselves!"

Sweet, but for dinner? Huh, that's weird.

That sounds kind of different, but also pretty good. We should all come learn each other's holidays some time! Too bad Culture Day's already over, we could've done that with different worlds and stuff.

We can always have our own Culture day...whatever it is. I can bring more of my food, and I can see if I have have the Mr. Saturns come over to help out! Everyone needs to meet them.

Anyway, how's the bed and breakfast going? I've never had the chance to go yet, but I seriously need to visit all of you sometime.

That'd be fun! Meringue probably wants to see them again. He still won't take that ribbon off his head.

I come over there pretty regularly, and it's going great! I'm on call whenever they need to fix anything. Or just whenever.

They were really friendly with him, weren't they? I'm surprised they gave that ribbon away for free.

Hah, that's why you were called the best Repair Girl. It sounds like you're pretty busy, then.

I think he thought he was one of them. Then again, he's friendly with, like, everyone.

What about you? You have all your music and world-fixing, you're a busy guy too!

They can a good sense of who's a good or bad person, that must have been it.

Oh, it definitely is busy. Besides all the reconstruction, we've been talking about bringing back the memories of the old world and deciding how to organize New Tazmily's government. Lucas still has a bit of the Dark Dragon in him, so he has some power over fixing some of the land so it's better for farming, but Kumatora is more of a leader. I think she'll be the mayor at this rate.

[He looks excited at the thought of her being one of the most important people in the world.]

I mean, she was raised to be a princess, so being in charge should come naturally to her, right?

I guess so! If you guys ever need anything, you know who to call. Well, I guess that's all of us, but I can totally help out. I think I don't mind being called reliable or responsible anymore.

[mindofathief]

That's good, because it's the truth.

And we can always use the extra energy to keep our spirits up.

[mopocalypse]

Really, really? Sure! Any excuse to come see you guys again, anyway. And I can even bring all my friends if you need help fixing something. Everything we do is better together!

[mindofathief]

And if you're from the city, you might enjoy a trip to the country! [Everyone should come visit Tazmily. Period.] Then we can give you all a concert, you, your friends, and everyone from the Future Foundation!

Like...a New Year concert. New Year's Eve was the last time we ever performed before the world was reborn, so I think it'd be really fitting.

[mopocalypse]

Think it'll even cheer Ryouji-kun up? He hates New Year's. I want to do something nice for him!

[mindofathief]

Really? Is this one of those things where it reminds him of something bad? [Because all you teens have issues and Duster doesn't want to accidentally step all over them like the time with the doll.]

[mopocalypse]

I think so. But maybe if we make things nice for him instead of make him feel like death -- well, he's always death, but you know what I mean.

[mindofathief]

Yeah, him being death...that's kind of hard to get rid of. But I'm sure we can fill that day with good memories instead of bad ones, right? You all did a great job supporting each other when I was gone, and I'm sure you'll do great from now on.

[mopocalypse]

We can do that! No more secrets, just "get happiness!" Though getting him to want to come... maybe say there's someone cute there?

Yahaha. Well, if Aniki says it, I guess it must be true. Plus, getting the others there should be easy, and then Ryouji-kun will want to set it up so Silver-kun ends up spending the rest of the night with Dave-kun and Meri-Meri.
