Community Event 2: Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival
It's a little of A and a little of B. The food is present - gosh, is the food present. Isabelle made sure not to miss anything: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, casserole, buttermilk rolls, cornbread, and those were just the normal options. Accommodations were made to diets like her own, and she even managed to get something for their more uniquely diet guest who would only subsist on coffee otherwise.
Besides the food, the hall has been decorated too thanks to her brother Digby and the Happy Home Academy. Festive fallen leaves decor with dark rugs, neatly hung drapes by the windows gathered into gold ropes, long tables with cream table cloths set with plates and silverware, and comfortable chairs colored yellow, orange, and red as they lined the tables.
"Okay, a piano if someone wants to play it, double string bass, speakers and... mhm! Beverages on that table, and laptop over there... that looks like everything! And right on time!"
Isabelle's beaming as she lowers her clipboard and fixes her tie - she really likes this Future Foundation suit. Bells jingling, she walks over to the main door which she knocks several times so they can be open.
"Welcome everyone and thank you for waiting! Come in and enjoy yourselves!"
[OOC: Happy Harvest/early-Thanksgiving/belated-Thanksgiving everyone! Mingle for all!]

[Duster helps himself to another serving of the stuffing.] You should have asked us to help with the cooking if you were going to make this much!

It's okay! Coordinating and executing events like these is just what I do.

You went through a lot. You deserved a break like that after all you did for us.
[Duster continues filling his plate.] Do you like being so busy all the time?
no subject
[Looking up at him, she nods.] It's busy, but it helps everyone.

Alright, how about he stuffs that pile of potatoes in his mouth and wipe that memory away.]
Isabelle, I know you like to help, but I don't want you to get tired. If there's anything I can do to help... [He looks around the room: the decorations are perfect, all the food is out, no one is making a terrible mess--] I can clear up the tables when we're done. You should take the time to rest.
no subject
[But, she'll nod.] Thanks. The other members were going to help clean up, but everyone's on their best behavior I doubt the mess will be too much.

[He worried so much about you when he was dead. You could have been suffering and he wouldn't be there to help, just wasting away as a ghost.]
So...is there anything special you do today apart from eating so much food? Usually we have games or tell stories. Music, too, but only when the sun's still out.

Well, I brought instruments for anyone who wants to play, a karaoke machine that we can bring in here, and a booth for Dave if he comes and wants to mix music. For games, there are cards available, but I wasn't entirely sure about board games.
