Community Event 2: Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival
It's a little of A and a little of B. The food is present - gosh, is the food present. Isabelle made sure not to miss anything: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, casserole, buttermilk rolls, cornbread, and those were just the normal options. Accommodations were made to diets like her own, and she even managed to get something for their more uniquely diet guest who would only subsist on coffee otherwise.
Besides the food, the hall has been decorated too thanks to her brother Digby and the Happy Home Academy. Festive fallen leaves decor with dark rugs, neatly hung drapes by the windows gathered into gold ropes, long tables with cream table cloths set with plates and silverware, and comfortable chairs colored yellow, orange, and red as they lined the tables.
"Okay, a piano if someone wants to play it, double string bass, speakers and... mhm! Beverages on that table, and laptop over there... that looks like everything! And right on time!"
Isabelle's beaming as she lowers her clipboard and fixes her tie - she really likes this Future Foundation suit. Bells jingling, she walks over to the main door which she knocks several times so they can be open.
"Welcome everyone and thank you for waiting! Come in and enjoy yourselves!"
[OOC: Happy Harvest/early-Thanksgiving/belated-Thanksgiving everyone! Mingle for all!]

[And that...sounds like it's the end of it, really.]

[He's content to let it drop there, but as usual, Ryuunosuke doesn't shut up.]
...So after dinner are you going to play for everyone?
[He tips his head in the direction of the piano.]
You still have to teach me how to play sometime!
no subject
[He glances over at the setup, the look brief.]
It seems Duster-san may be playing some tonight as well, should he feel so inclined.
no subject
[He follows Tsukiyama's gaze and tips his head a bit as he considers.]
Well, it's not like Duster can play all night. You guys can take turns or something.
no subject
[He's here, after all, and things have yet to turn into an unfathomable clusterfuck.]
Duster-san will do as he does; it's all right. Don't let it bother you.
no subject
[That relaxes him though, and Ryuunosuke grins.]
I'm alright! I know everything will be fine!
no subject
[Guys, why.]
no subject
[HE STILL DOESN'T GET IT]
no subject
[look we have no idea why duster felt personally victimized by regina george
he just apparently was tsukiyama doesn't even know]
no subject
[HE MIGHT STILL BE A LITTLE MAD ABOUT THAT]
no subject
[It's not said in any sort of self-deprecating way; it's just how things are.]
It doesn't trouble me, and if they need to be angry in order to recover personally, then that's fine. It isn't as though I have a lot to do with most of the people who would do that, anyway.
[...He isn't sure if he came out of the hotel well-adjusted or just fucked up in different directions, honestly, but that is apparently the stance we're taking today.]

[SHRUG]
Besides, we're doing well and that's what matters!
no subject
[...We're going to discuss this later, in all probability, but that's fine; it can wait.]
Is there anything in particular you want me to play for you later...?
no subject
Oh, nothing in particular! I just love hearing you play, it's always so pretty! I could probably watch you play forever, you know!
no subject
I'll see if I can come up with something you like, though; it's a good evening, we should make a proper night of it.

[...Not least of which because it tends to really piss off people who hate you, but. Details.]
