Hit the beach!



It's the end of the summer in Kalos and the Future Foundation outpost has generously decided to host a beach get-together for the survivors of the previous rounds of Dangan Roleplay. With a day full of beach fun followed by a night watching the nearby summer festival's fireworks, there's plenty of opportunities to meet up again and have fun with friends and pokémon.

[This is Maya's first time at a beach, actually-- but that doesn't mean she isn't dressed for the fun and completely not bothering to cover up any scars. She's super excited to see everyone again, and a beach party sounds perfect. It's a new experience that she's absolutely overjoyed to join in.

Most of the time you'll find her wandering the beach, trying to catch up with everyone-- but later on, you might have to join her in the water. Other times, she might be tailing after beach pokemon like clamperl, trying to get a better look at them.

For the fireworks she'll be right at the shore, bundled up in a sweater and grinning. This is a party.]

Snap out of it, Duster, you have a girlfriend! Maya's taken...he thinks.

Actually, why is he staring at her from the beach? He steps into the water, wearing his clothes sans shoes and socks and waves at her.]

GUESS WHO FINALLY HAS INTERNET

[Catching sight of Duster, Maya waves eagerly at him.]

Heyyy! Hey! Duster!!

Long time no see!

[She's just gonna wade through to come see him tyvm]

[Shit, he hopes she didn't spot him staring like some idiot. Duster takes the opportunity to stare at the sand as he crouches down and rolls up his pant legs. That'll be enough time for the embarrassment to wash off.]

I could say the same! You look like you're enjoying yourself!

[He steps into the ocean, water come up to his ankles. Then a large wave crashes in the distance, and the water level swells, high enough for half of Duster's pant legs to get soaked.

He steps back.]

Yeah! I've never been to the beach before!

[GRINS!!

She nods, watching the waves.]

You didn't bring beach clothes? You're gonna end up with soggy pants.

Never?

[Weird. Tazmily's right next to the ocean, and he has a hard time imagining growing up never having seen a beach.]

Huh? No, I have them under my regular clothes. I...decided not to take them off yet.

[He rubs the back of his head.]

Mind if I leave to change?

Nope! I lived in the mountains my whole life. Remember?

[She nods though.]
