It's the end of the summer in Kalos and the Future Foundation outpost has generously decided to host a beach get-together for the survivors of the previous rounds of Dangan Roleplay. With a day full of beach fun followed by a night watching the nearby summer festival's fireworks, there's plenty of opportunities to meet up again and have fun with friends and pokémon.

It really is. I've just been takin' the time to actually BE at home.

I've never minded travelin' too much though. [I mean, it's not like he's leaving a family behind or anything when he goes 8D] I'm hopin' I can just hide a Pokeball in my luggage or something so she can come with.

Sure you can! I mean, I smuggle mine into school all the time.

I'd just be worried about flyin'. What would those things even look like on a scanner?

[He honestly really hates flying anyway.]

I dunno... Airport security, the true enemy. Maybe you can get her checked in the pet carrier?

...she's a three-foot pink egg thing. No offense.

[Hope shrugs, as well as she can with her little arms.] Chan.

But your world's weird. I figured Chanseys in the pet hold counted as weird enough.

Honestly, it's kinda just my life. Hell, not even MY life - I was a normal guy until I met Linkara.

[He rolls his eyes, smiling a little.] You know how it is. Get a new roommate, think he's normal, and suddenly one day you come home to a robot clone tryin' to off him.

[mopocalypse]

Makes sense. [giggle fit] So your life really was one of those where everything looks normal but it's weird. ...Any vampires drinking V8 juice?

[milliondollarpipes]

There'd better not be.

[mopocalypse]

You really hate vampires for some reason, don't you?

[milliondollarpipes]

Whaddaya mean, for SOME reason? If I ever meet a vampire, it's gonna be 'cause it's tryin' to suck everyone in the house dry.

[mopocalypse]

Prejudice. [bursts out laughing again] Okay, but what if they could drink V8 juice instead, that'd be fine, right?

[milliondollarpipes]

...I guess. [It's best just to humor her.] At that point they're pretty much just pasty weirdos.

[mopocalypse]

Right, right. [Meringue climbs up into her lap and ponders a rock.] Nobody's born evil, hatman. Not you or me. See?

Ah, but vampires ain't born.

[He's teasing her. Sure nobody's born evil. Some people pull themselves there though.]

[mopocalypse]

Made? I dunno. Whatever. Not their fault, usually. I mean, if a vampire decided to be a terrible person, that's their problem. You might still want to try and be their friend anyway, you might not, they probably have good in them somewhere. I don't know, really.

[milliondollarpipes]

I dunno. Our stuff usually leans more sci-fi anyway. Like, see this?

[He shows her his right hand, a thin white scar running along his knuckles.] Be careful if you've ever gotta punch a robot.

[mopocalypse]

Whoa. Yeah, I kinda get why you'd just grab the first thing in sight and throw it at them first.

[milliondollarpipes]

Yeah, he had me backed in a corner. Hurt like hell...

[But hey, he lived. Harvey takes his hand back, contemplating the scar for a moment.]

That's why I'm still training Hope, even though I ain't runnin' off on a Pokemon adventure anytime soon. I don't want her gettin' caught up in anything she can't handle.

[mopocalypse]

I'm sure whatever happens, you'll be fine. You know? Maybe that's dumb, but maybe it's not.

[milliondollarpipes]

I don't know, I don't think it's dumb. We've had pretty good luck so far, considerin'.

[mopocalypse]

I guess. Was that luck or hard work and guts?

I'm gonna say luck. On my part, anyway.
