It's the end of the summer in Kalos and the Future Foundation outpost has generously decided to host a beach get-together for the survivors of the previous rounds of Dangan Roleplay. With a day full of beach fun followed by a night watching the nearby summer festival's fireworks, there's plenty of opportunities to meet up again and have fun with friends and pokémon.

Ah, Maya-chan! Hey!

[ you know, it's a bit funny that Sonico immediately finds herself getting up and meeting Maya halfway so she can throw her arms around the other girl in a fierce hug. They technically hadn't met yet, but Maya's still a friend and she gets the greeting that friends always get. ]

I'm glad you made it! Eheh, what do you think of Kalos so far?

[She gives back a hug that's just as fierce, as though she and Sonico have known each other since birth.]

I love it here! It's so pretty!

Isn't it? [ she sounds so proud on behalf of Kalos, she might not have been born here but you can imagine why she feels more than a touch protective of her ] I love it so much -- and there's so much to see, it's unbelievable...!

[ ok ok she's gonna give Maya one last squeeze and then pull back a bit so she can give her a proper smile ]

How are you doing...? It feels like it's been forever since we talked properly!

I've been okay! Things have been pretty good, actually.

Training, all that, but you know. Fun stuff too.

[She grins brightly.]

Not quite as cool as Kalos, but we do our best.

I'll have to come an visit you one day, too...! I'm sure you could use the company, right? Oh, um... you are allowed visitors while you're training, right?

[ there isn't some kind of ancient fey family secret she'll be interrupting if she drops by unexpectedly is there ]

Oh, of course! Actually, we could use the foot traffic.

[Winning over the whole of Kurain as master still intimidates her, but she knows the other mediums have felt just as isolated as she had. They'd love visitors-- especially cuties like Sonico.]

Right...! I'll come visit -- I'll see if Tohru will come along too and I'll bring you some snacks and sweets from Lumiose. Like, um -- a care package! O--or something like that, anyway, eheh...

[ everyone pretend to be surprised that making sure Maya is fed is one of her first priorities when going to visit ]

[There is literally NO PART OF MAYA that does not adore the fact Sonico feeds her. It's seriously the best thing.]
