It's the end of the summer in Kalos and the Future Foundation outpost has generously decided to host a beach get-together for the survivors of the previous rounds of Dangan Roleplay. With a day full of beach fun followed by a night watching the nearby summer festival's fireworks, there's plenty of opportunities to meet up again and have fun with friends and pokémon.

Yeah, how many followers did she have? They said my world was clean, and thankfully Onee-chan wasn't hurt. I'm hearing weird stuff on base, though. Something about a military base and kids trying to teach themselves to drive that was apparently really funny to watch.

Well, part of it was. But I guess I can have more fun in school now, anyway. I don't have to be scared. No matter what they do, we're taking them on.

My friends just caught 'em all and kept them on the spaceship until the Foundation showed up. They didn't know what else to do with 'em. She sent five.

I'm glad to hear that. [He'd been worried about her home life.]

[mopocalypse]

Whoa. How do you even monitor a bunch of assassin kids trying to kill you? Do you give them crayons? I don't get it at all, at all.

Yeah... It's been a long time. Poor Onee-chan, too. Sometimes I let her have Meringue for a while. Lots of us need help, I think.

We've got a brig. And a lot of video games. It ain't so hard to keep kids that age busy.

Sounded like it was pretty rough back there. [And HE died before the majority of that even came out.]

Yeah... It's something my friends at home have in common with our class here, actually. We were all a lot more messed up than you'd think. Dumb, isn't it? But we came out okay in the end.

[milliondollarpipes]

That ain't dumb, kid. You've been through a lot of crap.

...Yeah. [She nods.] But we're all gonna get better from here. You know? It'll be "hope and miracle."

There has been a lot of that goin' around lately.

Uh-huh. And it brings even more! How about you? Are you guys doing all right?

Turned out I missed a couple of people tryin' to kill my friends again while I was gone. But apparently it's been fine since then.

[Yeah he's not at all upset about not being there while everybody was getting attacked or anything. Not. At. All.]

[mopocalypse]

You mean, aside from small children?

[milliondollarpipes]

Ah, yeah. The guys I'm talkin' about were at it a lot longer than that.

[mopocalypse]

Oh, like your guys's enemies. ...It's kinda weird how so many of us have that stuff to deal with and we never knew.

[milliondollarpipes]

I guess maybe it's better that way. I'd rather I got thrown into murder school than some random joe off the street who'd never had anybody try and kill him before.

[He still wishes the kids had been left out of it.]

But isn't that kind of sad when you think of it that way?

How do you mean?

[mopocalypse]

No one deserves "school of murder friends," for one thing. We were all kind of wrecked in there. More than we were to begin with, I mean.

[milliondollarpipes]

No, no. I ain't sayin' anybody deserved it.

[Some of them maybe deserved SOMETHING, but those people survived, so whatever]

I guess. Just... I dunno. Thanks for being there, though. You became really important to a lot of us, you know?

Yeeeeeeeah, you're welcome. Wish I could've been there for you guys more.

[But helping the dead people out was important too, at least. He's happy he was there for Duster.]

Yeah... we all missed you. I'm just really glad we're all back again.

[milliondollarpipes]

Yeah. Never could've guessed that everything would end this well.

Yeah... The reason we believed in it was that a lot of us already came back at least once. And even if Monaka-chan was at fault for some of us, we knew there were other ways. At least I did, Fuu-chan and Dave-kun too. Otherwise, I'd've thought we were lost.

I've never seen anything like it before. I knew one guy to come back to life, but he was a robot - just sent himself over to a different body, y'know.
